The Great Bear Foundation would like to announce that our latest issue of Bear News is now available for download on our website. The theme of this issue is the listing and potential de-listing of bears under the US Endangered Species Act, so you can read about protections for polar bears and the potential loss of protections for certain grizzly bear populations in the United States, and the lawsuits that have ensued on both sides of the issue.

In addition, this issue covers the illegal trade in bear parts, human-related bear attractants, GBF projects like our Bears & Apples program, field courses, and a round-up of recent news regarding the conservation of bears and their habitats.
