Interested in a spring grizzly bear field course on the Rocky Mountain Front? Join GBF’s Chuck Jonkel for the Path of the Great Bear at the Nature Conservancy’s Pine Butte Guest Ranch in Montana. Small, intimate class size, stunning landscape, and best of all, BEARS!

The Path of the Great Bear is a workshop on tracking and learning the ways of the Rocky Mountain Front grizzly bear based at the Pine Butte Guest Ranch.

From the TNC’s website: “This workshop emphasizes first-hand learning in the field. You’ll learn to recognize grizzly habitat, foods and signs of the bears’ presence. We’ll also discuss the efforts to manage the needs of both bears and humans so that both can co-exist. This session is designed for adults of all ages and experience levels.”
